Bonnie S. Westlin received her J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in 1995, and a B.A. in English in 1992. Ms. Westlin has been licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota since 1995. She opened her own practice January 1, 2004, which is focused primarily in the area of family law. Ms. Westlin also provides mediation services and is trained in the practice of collaborative law.
Ms. Westlin has been practicing family law mediation since February 2004, and is trained in the transformative model, a process focused on supporting parties who wish to have a conversation about their conflict, as well as supporting their decision-making with respect to all aspects of their dispute.
Ms. Westlin is a member of the Family Law Section of the Minnesota State and Hennepin County Bar Associations, Minnesota Women Lawyers, Conflict Resolution Minnesota, and is a founding member of Transformative Mediators of Minnesota.
